School Performances

Live Theatre

Playtime Theatre is made up of native English speakers who have incredibly diverse theatrical backgrounds. Our live shows are designed to engage, entertain, and educate Infant and Primary school pupils, with each performance lasting between 45-50 minutes. We also have a musician who produces all the songs & performs live on stage to keep children captivated. Prior to the show, we send songs and teaching resources to prepare pupils, ensuring they have a full immersive experience of theatre.

Digital Theatre

Playtime Digital Theatre is an innovative theatre project for children learning and practising English. We bring participative, musical theatre directly to your classroom via a video streaming platform. In addition, we have created teaching resources for each show designed to support your English lessons, bilingual subjects and assessment syllabus. The project is not created for remote learning but instead it has been designed as a pupil-centred classroom activity.

Our theatre workshops for Secondary school students provide acting and public speaking tips to students aged 12 to 18. All of our workshops are very interactive and dynamic with improvisation games, short scripts and character building activities. Our workshops usually have between 20 and 30 students per group. Students who participate in our theatre workshops build their confidence in English, develop stage presence, improve their vocal projection, stimulate their creativity, learn to improvise and above all, have fun using English. We have theatre workshops on various themes such as Shakespeare, Myths and Legends, Cinema and English comedies.
